В 1957 г. Олби Роллигон представил свой самый известный прототип - Albee Rolligon, 7 ton, 6x6, Off-Highway, Transporter. Построенный для работы на бездорожье, здоровенный внедорожник с шинами-пневматиками мог перевозить до 7 тонн по любым поверхностям. Прототип оснастили кабиной от грузовиков Chevrolet и двигателем Chrysler 331 V8. Максимальная скорость 75 км/ч.

    My father was the photographer that took alot of pics of the rnAlbee Rolligon. I haven't shown him this site yet, but he'll get a kick. He's in his nineties and doing pretty good still.

    Are the Rolligons still around and working today? ie in Australia?

    I was working for Forest Hills Studio in Monterey California in the late 1950s and printed the black and white pictures that are on this page. I still have a few copies that I saved. My favorite one is the one driving across the ditch on two logs.
