Mack
The Australian factory of Mack Trucks Company was founded in 1963 and consisted of a headquarter and three assembly hangar at the airport in Archerfield, but already in 1968 it was moved to Rocklea. Firstly the Australian factory produced a copy of American trucks, but later different local version were presented, such as an 8 - or 10-axle trucks for transportation of livestock. The first trucks produced at the factory were the series B, and then R series. After the flood destroyed the factory in 1974, the company moved to another city - Richlands. In 1982, during the modification of the series R, the first special Australian model Value-Liner was presented. In 1988, the very popular in USA - CH model was presented. Since the mid 90s the range of Renault truck under the brand Mack was started to sell in Australia.
