In 2008, the Trident model was refreshed. The trucks received a new design like other Mack models and new engines MP8 with output of 465 and 500 hp. Transmission - Eaton (18-speed) or Mack. Since the power and traction characteristics of the new truck were improved, now the trucks can work together with 26-meter B-Doubles trailers. Thus, the total mass of a single vehicle can reach 28 tons, and the total combination weight - up to 106 tons. Buyer can choose from day cab and sleeper 52" High-Rise cab. The new Trident is available in Axle Back version. Since 2010, the trucks are equipped with SCR system engines.
