During a celebration of 50 years of "Design and Experimental department of BelAZ" a new and heaviest in the range of producing dump trucks was shown - BelAZ-75601 with load capacity of 360 tons. Dump truck is designed as a vehicle of a higher technical level and loading class using basic elements of dump truck BelAZ-75600.
The Holding Company AvtoKrAZ from designed and manufactured a special heavy rescue vehicle (SARM) based on the chassis KrAZ-63221 for EMERCOM of Ukraine. SARM - a specially equipped vehicle designed for the speedy delivery of emergency services, special equipment to emergency situations places, rescue, save and other urgent works, search for victims and emergency medical care to them, elimination of local fire, management of radiation and chemical reconnaissance, communications during emergencies and natural disasters.
SARM has the seven-seater four-door cab and compartment for storage and transportation of special equipment. A new rescue vehicle equipped with the most modern equipment to work in emergency situations, including self-contained stationary power plants with capacity of 30 kW and 5 kW portable, hydroelectric power station with a set of hydraulic equipment, self-contained water pump, welding equipment, diving and rescue equipment, acid suits, eight-seater motor boat, hydraulic crane from Swedish company Hiap.
The Belarusian Automobile Plant on the scientific-technical conference "Perspectives of development of mining equipment" has presented a prototype dump truck with a remote control BelAZ 75137, which was designed by the company's constructors. "The idea of its creation was arisen after our Russian consumers began to complain about the shortage of drivers of heavy-duty dump trucks. Still, the profession of driver of such trucks makes some serious demands to physical condition of the driver. That's how the idea was born to bring a driver out of this difficult area and place it, for example, at the office conditions, that he will work as an operator ", - said Alexander Egorov, General Designer of BelAZ.
Hino Australia is poised to launch an automatic transmission version of its proven Hino Hybrid 300 Series diesel-electric truck. The new 300 Series model will be Australia’s first automatic hybrid truck. The new Hino Hybrid 714 Auto’s intelligent six-speed transmission has specially tailored control software to optimise electric assist during initial acceleration and maximise energy recovery through regenerative braking. In addition, Hino Hybrid has an engine-stop feature, so the diesel engine stops when the vehicle is stationary. The new automatic transmission truck offers significant fuel savings compared with an equivalent diesel automatic truck. It uses the power from a 100kW diesel engine and 36kW electric motor, according to driving conditions, to optimise fuel use and minimise emissions. During initial acceleration, revised up-shift points make better use of the electric motor’s torque. During deceleration, torque converter lock-up is maintained and the transmission initiates down-shifts sooner – to boost the regenerative braking effect and hence capture more kinetic energy.
