Ford unvieled new limited series of Transit SportVan
Only in the UK Ford company presented the new special edition of the Ford Transit SportVan with a new color scheme: Metallic Silver with graphite racing stripes. Ford already finished sells of the previous six shades, Performance Blue with white stripes (500 units), Sea Grey with silver stripes (80 vehicles), Panther Black with silver stripes (500 examples), Frozen White with blue stripes (80 units), Ink Blue with silver stripes (150 vehicles ) and Colorado Red with white stripes (250 examples). All of them have immediately found owners.
This time limited series will be made in quantity of 180 units, with the vehicle being based on the Transit 260 short wheelbase version. Under the hood, we find a 2.2-liter TDCi unit that delivers 140 hp and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, using the front axle to send its power to the road. The vehicle rides on 18-inch lightweight alloy rims, which come in a graphite finish and is accessorized with aggressive body parts. The interior doesn’t necessarily offer sporty goodies, but you do get a generous list of features, such as a leather-finished steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, tinted glass and others. This series of SportVan will cost GBP23,670 (EUR27,200 or $37,072 at the current exchange rates).
