UD Trucks updated light Condor trucks

The Japanese company UD Trucks (formerly Nissan Diesel) has upgraded the light Condor trucks (1.6-4.6 tons). Updated versions went on sale in a local market on September 26th. As a result of the update, the trucks confirm the standards of emission of harmful substances, which were started from last year. Upgrading of the engine model 4JT1 rated at 150 hp, equipped with fuel injection system Common Rail led to a significant reduction of the emissions of NOx and PM. Moreover, the emission of PM is 30% less than requires in the standard. Updated trucks also meet the applicable standards of fuel consumption, operating at the local market. To increase the level of passive safety the trucks received the underrun FUP system and ABS as standard equipment. Prices, depending on the configuration, are 4 687 200 to 4 014 150 yen, or from 61 455 to 52 630 USD (including tax).
