The KAMAZ-4308 vehicle is good for cities, being low-tonnage and able to run on those roads to which heavy vehicles are denied access. The use of methane as fuel adds to the value of the vehicle, because schools and preschool institutions in some large cities use cars running only on natural gas, compliant with Euro 4 environmental standards and higher. The KAMAZ-4308 chassis is equipped with a gas engine by a foreign manufacturer run on compressed natural gas – methane.
