RAM Truck brand introduced its new cargo van
The Ram truck brand, a part of Chrysler group, has officially showed a new additional to its model line-up - the new Dodge Grand Caravan based cargo van. Along with solid sliding door, rear quarter window and backlight privacy panels in place of clear glass windows, the Ram C/V packs a flat aluminum load floor and a load-leveling suspension. Two flooring options will be available, including one with a flat, uninterrupted, high-capacity surface. The van is equipped with a new Chrysler 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with an output of 283 hp. This engine is completed by an automatic 6-speed transmission. The RAM C/V is also equipped with heavy-duty kit like a more robust radiator, transmission cooler and stiffer rear coil springs. The new van is provides 1,800-lb. cargo payload and category-exclusive towing capability, up to 3,600 lbs.
