KAMAZ 54901: a prototype of the new tractor was presented in Moscow

At the commercial vehicles fair COMTRANS-2017 in Moscow, KAMAZ showcased a prototype of a new heavy duty tractor called KAMAZ 54901. It is fitted with the K5 cabin, developed by Daimler AG. KAMAZ plans to start producing of the 54901 in 2019 with the K5 cabin to be produced on a new factory 'DK Rus' (a joint venture by Daimler AG and KAMAZ). The new KAMAZ is going to be cheaper by 15-20% then Mercedes-Benz Actros.
