DAF » TT 1301 / TT 1302 / TT 1303 / TT 1305
In the late 60s, a new range of improved terminal trucks came to replace DAF T 1800 DF. They've got a single seat cabin, which now can be tilted over 54 degrees, greatly improving maintanance jobs.
The trucks are equipped with DAF DF 615 diesel rated at 93 kW (125 hp) and 380 Nm, or DH 825 rated at 120 kW (163 hp) and 645 Nm. The engines are coupled to an automatic transmission that transmits torque to a double reduction rear axle. The terminal tractors can move gross combination weights up to 120 tons.
DAF TT 1301 DF has been developed for general operations in harbours, on transport terminals, in factory yards and for ferry service. The TT 1302 DF and TT 1303 DH type have been given an extra drawbar pull for heavy roll-on/roll-off operations. The later joined model TT 1305 DF can be distinguished by increased visibility. For this, additional windows were made in the corners of the cabin and on the roof.
