Ural 43206 is a 2-axle version of Ural 4320 6x6 truck. Both models are using the same units and details. The initial index before the certification was the '4325'. The first prototypes were fitted with Kamaz 740 diesels, but mass production models got other engines. Payload of the 2-axle versions is 3600-4100 kg comparing with 6000-6500 kg of the modern modifications of the 4320.
From the beginning Ural 43206 was equipped with YAMZ 236 (modification Ural 43206-10) and YAMZ 238 (modification Ural 43206-31, had a longer hood) diesels. Later they were replaced by Ural 43206-41 with YAMZ 236NE2, Ural 43206-61 with 230 hp YAMZ 65654 and Ural 43206-71 with 240 hp YAMZ 53622.10.
The chassis Ural 43206-0111-** is used as a base for different special vehicles, such as special buses, fire trucks, snow plow cleaners, etc. The range also includes models Ural 43206-0551-** with a twin-row cabin.
