Ural 43202 is a chassis to mount special equipment, mainly military and police vans. It has a longer rear end of the frame with a spare tire holder. The filler neck is located in the front end of the fuel tank. Wheelbase is similar to Ural 4320. Engine — KAMAZ 740 rated at 210 hp. The updated model Ural 43203-01 based on the Ural 4320-01 produced since 1986.
In 1989-1993, the factory produced Ural 43203-02 with KAMAZ 740.10-20 diesel rated at 220 hp. Since 1993 — Ural 43203-10 with YAMZ 236 diesel and Ural-43203-31 with YAMZ 238 diesel (has a longer hood). Since the 2000s, the main model is Ural 43203-40 with YAMZ 236NE2.
