In 2011, the Chinese joint venture SAIC-IVECO HONGYAN launched its new range 红岩金刚 (KingKan, "King Kong"). The new model is expected to replace the old range CQ 金刚 (Jingang).. The main innovation is the own cab, which is made in a style of the more expensive Genlyon model. The predecessor's cab was manufactured by a supplier, which had a negative effect on its quality. Trucks can be equipped with Powerforce engine with an output of 270-380 hp, and the chassis will be available with different wheel configurations from 4x2 to 8x4.
