Malaysian company Prospek Arif is one of the largest construction companies in the country. With its workshops, in 2000 the company decided to do major repairs and producing of its own trucks. That's from the old trucks the company made new, but actually totally repaired, machines. Workers repair engines (usually Japanese - most of them here), replace bridges, transmission, re-sheathe the old cabin, and change the design, "attaching" the new fiberglass parts to the old frame. Volumes were extremely low - about a dozen cars a year. Apparently, to date, the company's activity for the assembly of trucks has been stopped.
