A prototype of armored vehicle developed under the program VBMR was shooted in France. It made by RENAULT Trucks Defense. Probably RENAULT Trucks Defense will participate in a competition to supply 2,320 armored vehicles to the Army of France. Delivery of the first batch of machines is expected in 2016. New armored vehicles VBMR have to replace a part of the Army of France old VAB 4x4 armored vehicles, the number of which in service is now stands at 3.7 million units. The vehicle on the photo has a mine-protection and is mounted on a wheeled 6x6 chassis.
