MAZ presents a 5th generation 3-axle chassis 6312M7

A few days ago MAZ has presented their new 5th generation MAZ-6312M7 6x4 chassis. The triaxial chassis has the newest equipment, Euro-6 engine and the brand new cabin with lowered roof. The first truck of the new generation is MAZ-5440M9, presented last summer. Since then, their flagship model is being demonstrated during different events. The brand new MAZ-6312M7 has the same flagship cabin and the top-quality equipment. The curb weight is 10.4 tons.

Turbo-diesel engine Mercedes-Benz OM 470 is good enough for 428hp. It works together with 16-speed PowerShift G230-16 transmission from the same factory. The truck is capable to go 90 km/h. It is equipped with an ESP, EBS systems and a brand new Actia system, which controls all the electric components.
