Famous Australian company Rosenbaurer introduced this year a real monster – Buffalo Fire Truck. This one is going to be the biggest in the world. It has 13m length, 3.55m width and 4.2m height. The truck is capable of transporting up to 33 tones of water. The previous record holder could only carry 25 tones.
A huge waterpump which can make up to 6500 L/min has 10 bar pressure. There is also a foam generator, which produces over 6000 L/min. This truck will be perfect for those places, where there is no water access. It can also be used in coal mines and gas-oil fields.
Buffalo is equipped with Paul Heavy Mover 6x6 chassis, introduced during IAA-2012 show. This chassis is build using Mercedes-Benz details. In this particular case, there is a 16.0 turbocharged V8, producing 571HP, and an automatic Allison 4700 P transmission.
Besides driver, the cabin can fit 5 crew members. The biggest fire truck has 68 tones of weigh, but you cannot call it slow, because it can accelerate up to 65 km/h.
