Articulated tipper Kirovec K-708.2

"Kirov Plant" (Russia) for over half a century specializes in the production of articulated agricultural machinery. At the construction exhibition STT-2014 in Moscow it presented a new articulated dump truck "Kirovets" K-708.2. The length of the model is 8.46 m (with a body - 8.81 m), width - 3.5 m, height - 3,54 m. Tipper can carry up to 20 tonnes. Curb weight is 14.8 tons. The nominal volume of the body is 12 cubic meters (geometric - 9.3 cubic meters.). Time tipping of dump platform - 15 seconds.

Model K-708.2 has a new cab with tipping system. It has a built-in safety cage and tinted windows. The tipper is equipped with a 6-cylinder 8.3-liter turbodiesel Cummins 6CTA with a capacity of 240 hp. It uses also ZF gearbox with 6 forward gears and 3 rear. Control fuel consumption is 210 grams per kW/h. The maximum vehicle speed is 49 kph (40 kph with a full load).
