The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is receiving a facelift for 2013, giving it a look similar to that of the Renault Kangoo-based Citan. By the way, we have already posted spy photos of Sprinter prototypes. To bring it in line with its smaller sibling, Mercedes will be altering its headlights, grille, front bumper and rear lights. This will also be the first Sprinter to feature LED DRLs. Aside from these exterior changes, we expect the inside to get a boost in quality and some minor design changes. It will still be available in a wide range of body styles, and will be able to competently carry both people and cargo around. It will also make its way to the US where it is currently sold under the Freighliner brand name and is enjoying reasonable success. Expect to see the updated Sprinter unveiled by the end of the year, with deliveries commencing in 2013.
