Alexander Lvov became the driver of a new racing team
In the capital of the Czech Republic a new Frankie OXXO Truck Racing Team was presented, which would take part in one of the most spectacular racing series - the European Truck Racing Championship in 2012. Among its pilots is a famous Russian driver Alexander Lvov. Information about the creation of Frankie OXXO Truck Racing Team and its plans for the coming season was announced in the headquarter of the Czech division of MAN Truck & Bus, based in Prague. The new team was formed at the confluence of the Czech Frankie Truck Racing Team and the Hungarian OXXO Racing Team - both have great experience in a European Truck Racing Championships.
In the season of 2012 Frankie OXXO Truck Racing Team will use three new MAN trucks. Special attention to aerodynamics and brake cooling system was paid by engineers. In the European Truck Racing Championship this team will receive the support of MAN AG, which gives a specially prepared factory engines with capacity of 12.5 liters and power of 1150 hp. The drivers of these 5.5-ton trucks are Franks Voitishek from the Czech Republic, Hungarian Norbert Kiss and Alexander Lvov from Russia. Start of the European Championship will be held in May 12-13 at the Turkish track "Istanbul Park."
