Project of future city delivery truck with extendable frame
Designer Leighton McDonald has showed project of the Rapid Delivery Vehicle (RDV) of the future. It is a delivery truck designed to expand and contract based upon its cargo. The RDV has a small cab and an extendable chassis that can double in size via remote control. The result is a full-sized delivery truck when you need it and a small, space-saving vehicle when you don’t. The smaller form of this vehicle could be used for navigating crowded city streets between deliveries, or for delivering smaller parcels that don’t require a cavernous cargo truck.
