27-ton dump truck DAC 48-36 (or AB 27 T) was produced by Mecanica Mârşa plant as well as other dump trucks under DAC brand. The engine was used a 360 hp V8 (1240 V8 DT). The length of truck was 7.6 m, width – 3.67 m and the wheelbase – 3.6 m.
GVW – 49.7 tons. The trucks were produced in large quantities. In 1989, this truck became the base for new prototypes with Cummins engines and GVW of 60 tons.
