The construction versions in the Actros range were presented in 2002. The trucks are equipped with off-road bumpers and metal protecting of engine. In 2007 all trucks have got Euro4/Euro5 engines. The Actros MP2 Bau (this version like the truck tractor has got a cab with an external restyling and completely changed interior) can be offered with different engines with output from 320 to 578 hp, gearboxes with the usual lever or "joystick" Telligent, and since 2004 fully automatic transmission. The trucks have disc brakes in front and drum at the rear or drums on all wheels. Wheel configurations are from 4x2 to 8x8/4 (all wheel drive, twin-steer). Among the other features of this version is a new ventilation and heating. The new system works much faster.
