In 60es, the French company Saviem (later it became the part of Renault Group) created a successful delivery model. The MAN had been importing these trucks under its brand from 1967 to 1977. The trucks received the unified with other MAN models indices with a point. Totally about 10 thousand of these trucks were sold in Germany in this period. Many experts still remember the Saviem cabs with rounded shapes. The range of MAN-Saviem trucks included trucks with a GVW of 3.8 to 9 tons. This series has proved itself in different areas, but cooperation between companies was stopped in the mid-seventies.
