Mass production of the truck tractor KrAZ T17.0EH "Burlak" starts in 2010, when it has successfully completed certification tests for compliance with GOST. Super truck KrAZ T17.0EH is intended to transport trailers with gross weight up to 75 tons (twice more than the 6446 model with the same curb weight). Forerunner of the new model was KrAZ-6440TE with all single wheels. After the tests KrAZ-6440TE has been updated. In particular, it got a 2-inch fifth wheel device to replace the old (3.5-inche). Under the hood, to replace removed from the production V8 engine JAMZ-7511, was put its more modern variant JAMZ-6581.10 with the same 400 hp (70 hp more than 6,446), which meets Russian present environmental standards Euro-3. Improved model has received a new index KrAZ T17.0EH, and own name "Burlak. The truck is a confident working in extreme weather, climate and road conditions at temperatures ranging from - 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, at altitudes up to 5 thousand km above a sea level, fording up to 1,5 m depth and snow up to 0,6 m.
