By 2011 model year the Mercedes-Benz company has updated its distribution model Atego. The truck got new grille in the latest generation Actros style. The new Atego traditionally has a lot of versions ranging from 5 to12,7 tons trucks. The new version, which didn't exist before, is a road train with GCVW of 28 tons. Other updates are multifunction steering wheel with audio control keys and on-board computer as a standart option. As an option, this wheel can be covered with alcantara. Also the trucks received the seats with integrated head restraints and a number of other pleasant "little things" in the cabin. The range is also included a hybrid version Atego BlueTec Hybrid with diesel Blue Tec 5 engine and electric motor, which can save 10-15% of fuel if compare with conventional diesel version. The range received the award "Truck of the Year 2011" mainly because of hybrid version.
