In the process of transition to the "M" system in the early 50's, a new family of 6- and 8-cylinder M-engines (8276 and 10644 cm3) was created. After that the new range of trucks was presented. In its digital indices were encrypted payload and power. The range included five basic machines from 5-ton 115 hp model "515L1" to 8,5-ton model "830L". Vehicles were equipped with a manual transmission ZF, and narrow or wide cabins. 6-cylinder engine models with narrow cabins were produced in the following variants:
- 515 L1 (1954-1956) - payload 5 tons, engine D 1046M, 115 hp.
- 620 L1 (1956-1960) - payload 6,8 tons, engine D 1246M4, 120 hp. The semi-tractor version was also available with payload of 7,6 tons. The four-wheel drive version 620 L1A was also available with payload of 6,6 tons.
- 620 L3F (1959-1960) - version of the model 620 L1 with D 0026M2 engine with output 120 hp.
- 750 L1 (1957-1961) - payload 6,9 ton, engine D 1246M8, power 145 hp. he semi-tractor version 750 L1S was also available. The four-wheel drive version 750 L1A was also available with payload of 6,1 tons.
