Along with the lighter versions the range L included heavy duty modifications 700 and 800. The heavy version can be distinguished by the location of the headlights. Versions:
- 770 L1 / 770 H (1959-1963) - payload - 9460 kg, curb weight - 4540 kg, engine - 6-cylinder diesel MAN D2146 M1, 172 hp, transmission 6-speed manual ZF.
- 780 H (1963-1972) - upgraded model 770 H with a 6-cylinder diesel engine MAN D2146 M11, 180 hp (from 1965 - 186 hp).
- 850 H (1966-1972) - payload - 8800 kg, engine - MAN D0836 HM70, 156 hp.
- 1070 L1 / 1070 H - payload - 10 tons, engine - 6-cylinder diesel MAN2146 M1, 172 hp, transmission 6-speed manual ZF.
- 1570 H (1961-1963) - payload - 15 tons, engine - 6-cylinder diesel MAN2146 M1, 172 hp, transmission 6-speed manual ZF.
- 1580 H (1963-1972) - upgraded model 1570 H with the MAN D2146 M11 engine.
- 2170 L1 (1960-1963) - payload - 21 t, curb weight - 8400 kg, engine - 6-cylinder diesel MAN D2146 M1, 172 hp, transmission 6-speed manual ZF.
- 2180 H (1963-1972) - upgraded model 2170 L1 with the MAN D2146 M11.
Some models after 1963 received new designations, where figures before the point indicates payload of the trucl, and figures after the point - the engine power. For example 10.212 HK, 15.212 DH, 15.215 DH, 19.215 DH, 19.230 DH.
