Mack » AB
In 1913 Edward Hewitt has created a conventional truck Mack AB with a payload of 1,5-2,5 tons, which was produced until 1936. It had a one-piece 4-cylinder 30 hp engine, drive line or chain drive of the rear wheels with a worming main gear, stamped frame, brakes on rear wheels with solid tires. Later the AB model received 2-speed bevel main gear, electric starter, headlights, pneumatic tires and closed cabin. The latest 65 hp models have a payload of 3-5 tons, drive line and new all-metal cab.
