Mitsubishi Fuso » Fighter 2010
In May 2010, Mitsubishi Fuso introduced an updated version of its medium-duty model - Fighter. The main difference with old models is the updated version of new more economical and environmentally friendly power plant with a system BlueTec. This changes are for the 8 tones GVW version and above. With the BlueTec system Fighter now satisfies Japanese requirements JP09 on the exhaust for trucks weighing more than 8 t .Complete new engine 6M60 is inline 6-cylinder turbocharged 7.5 liters diesel engine - 240 or 270 hp. To achieve even greater fuel economy, the new engine has a VG system (Variable Geometry) - variable geometry of turbocharger. The 6-speed INOMAT-II has been improved to reduce gear-change time and alleviate gear-change shock, which leads to smooth driving and enhance comfort. The cabin interior also has some changes - the driver's seat is now covered in genuine leather (incidentally the first time in class!), as well as a new set of available options that should increase the comfort of the driver (fully automatic air conditioning, keyless cabin access, etc.). Exterior of the cabin has some changes too. The truck comes in three versions on GVW - 8 tons, 11 tons and 14.5 tons. There are few versions of cabins - daycab and a sleeper cab, narrow and wide. In addition, you can choose design of front grill - headlights can be located on a bumper, or on a cab (for heavy duty operations).
