Tonar » 7502
Tonar continues to expand the model range of superheavy trucks, presented Tonar 7502 tractor at the end of 2018. It was created specifically for work in the extreme conditions of the Russian North and will transport ore to the quarries of the Alrosa diamond mining company.
Tonar 7502 is unified with the heavy-duty dump truck Tonar 7501 shown in May 2018. It is based on a durable chassis with a 6x6 wheel configuration. An American Cummins QSK19 diesel engine with a displacement of 19 liters and a power of 760 hp is under the hood. It is coupled with an Allison 6620 automatic transmission. The transfer case is made by German company ZF.
The suspension and axles are Tonar's own design, but they are made on the basis of the Chinese Hande knots. The giant tractor is equipped with two fuel tanks of 610 liters each, because the fuel consumption here is just gigantic. The tractor works in a combination with two tipper trailers with a volume of 39.5 cubic meters each.
The load capacity of the combination is 128 tonnes. Its length reaches 28 meters. Tonar 7502 was created specifically to work at the Verkhne-Munsky diamond mine. Due to its size and weight it cannot be used on public roads without a special permission. At first, the new tractor will be operated in Yakutia under the supervision of Tonar specialists.
