Tonar » 7501
May 18th, 2018, "Tonar" presented a new 60-ton Tonar 7501 dump truck. It is not so huge as BelAZ dumpers but at the moment it is the heaviest off-highway dump truck made in Russia.
The Tonar-7501 6x4 received a 2-place aluminum cabin mounted on air suspension, that debuted six months ago on 45251 and 45252. The driver's seat is also has an air suspension for additional comfort.
The engine is a 15-liter 6-cylinder Cummins QSX-15 diesel with power of 540 hp, connected with a 7-speed automatic transmission Allison 4700 with built-in brake retarder.
The huge tipper body with rear unloading has a volume of 27 m3 (for rocks) or 48 m3 (for coal) and is equipped with an advanced exhaust gas preheating system. Unlike the model 45251, which has a carrying capacity of 45 tonnes, the Tonar-7510 has a longer and enhanced frame. The front axle and rear tandem axles (made by Chinese company Hande) are designed for heavier loads: 17.5 and 35 tonnes, respectively. 16,00R25 tires are made in China.
