DongFeng » Tianlong KL (天龙KL)
The first spy photos of the new Dongfeng Tianlong KL truck appeared in March 2018. Its official premiere took place in October of the same year. The new model has replaced the Tianlong, which has been produced without major changes since 2009.
Appearance of the truck has changed a lot. It got slanted headlights with LED strips. The vent in the bumper has become much larger and is equipped with an aluminum step for easier access to the windshield. Rearview mirrors are combined using a single body.
Despite the fact that the main structure of the cabin remained the same (in fact this is the cabin from Nissan Diesel trucks), it looks completely different due to a new styling. The dashboard got a slightly different design, as well as a 3-spoke steering wheel. Black and silver colors were chosen for decoration, creating a feeling of spaciousness inside. The center console looks like IVECO Stralis Hi-Way and is equipped with a 7-inch multimedia display. But the main difference between Tianlong KL and its predecessor is a flat floor.
The Dongfeng Tianlong KL is equipped with a 420, 450 or 465 hp Dongfeng DCi engine, which is paired with a Dongfeng DT1422 14-speed manual gearbox created using Volvo technology.
