In the early 60s, DAF produced a small batch of unified 4x2 tractors DAF T 1502 DD 265 and YT 1502 DD 265. They were equipped with cabins with a trapezoidal radiator grille from the civil series 1500. The wheelbase is 2.65 meters.
Both models were equipped with a 6-cylinder 5750 cc DAF DD575 diesel rated at 88 kW (120 hp). A distinctive feature of DAF YT 1502 DD 265 was the hatch in the roof of the cabin, which T 1502 DD 265 did not have. YT 1502 was produced from 1959 to 1963 primarily for the Royal Air Force of the Netherlands. Only 5 copies of DAF T 1502 were made in 1962. They were used to transporting military construction equipment.
