In 2005, the Ural automobile plant began production of 3-axle dump trucks Ural 63685. Like other members of the family this model got an old IVECO cab. There is a choice between a daycab or extended sleeper cab. An enhanced front mask could be ordered for an additional fee, but very few of them were made.

Ural-63685 in not an AWD truck – it is 6x4. But it has rear axles and center differentials. The rear axles are made by Chinese company FAW. The 63685 chassis is also used to mount special equipment.

The length of the dumper is 7,703 mm, height – 3,326 mm, width – 2,500 mm. The turning radius is 8.725 m. The wheelbase between the middle and front axes is 3,465 mm, between the middle and the rear axles is 1,440 mm. The payload of the front axle is 7,500 kg, rear axles – 26,000 kg. The curb weight is 13,350 kg, GVW is 33,500 kg.

As the power unit is used an 11.1-liter YaMZ-7601 V6 300 horsepower, which meets the environmental standards of Euro 3. The transmission is 9-speed manual YaMZ-239 with synchronizers.
