Khant » 8051H
In August 2015, the Heavy Machinery Plant made the first prototype of a special chassis called KHANT-8051H. One year later — in May 2016 — it was successfully tested and received an approval certificate.
KHANT-8051H is built on the base of an Ural chassis. This model was specially created for the oil and gas industry and is equipped with a shifted forward cabin. The length of the chassis is 12 meters. The engine is a 6-cylinder diesel YaMZ-53602.10 with a capacity of 312 hp, joined by a nine-speed manual gearbox ZF. Of course, it is fitted with a PTO.
The cab is borrowed from Ural trucks (it is based on an old Italian Iveco cabin), but has an additional insulation. The curb weight of the chassis is 10.6 tonnes, and payload is almost 20 tonnes. The maximum speed is 90 kph.
