In 1986, DAF made a prototype of the 90-tonnes 6x6 tractor DAF YTZ 3600. It was equipped with a new 360-horsepower 6-cylinder DAF DKZ ATi 1160 engine with volume of 11630 cm3. It was unified with the Y 3000 range. The only prototype was made.
