DAF YTZ 95, or the DAF Tropco (tractor-trailer combination) 650kN and 400kN are semi low-loaders developed to transport heavy equipment, such as Leopard tanks and infantry vehicles. 650kN and 400kN refers to the payload of 65,000 and 40,000 kg, respectively. It based on the heavy-duty DAF 95XF tractor modified for 6 wheel drive

The tractor is equipped with a 6-cylinder 12.6 liter DAF XE355C diesel with a power of 255 kW / 480 hp (for the 400 kN version) and 390 kW / 530 hp at 1,900 rpm (for the 650 kN version). Overal dimensions: 7940x2500x3870 mm. Curb weight – 15.530 kg. The trailer has length of loading platform of 10.51 meters. The YTZ 95 is used by Royal Netherlands Army.

Differences between two versions: The Tropco 400kN (DAF YTZ-95-480) with load capacity of 40,000 kg is intended primarily to transport infantry vehicles. The 650kN (DAF YTZ-95-650) has a winch. A big difference between both types is the number of axles on the trailers. The 650kN has 7 axles, the 400kN has 4 axles. Both the 650kN and the 400kN can also be used to tow trailers with a coupling pin height of approximately 1.45 meters. DAF made 39 YTZ-95-650 and 63 YTZ-95-480.

DAF also made 5 military recovery wreckers YBB-95-480. It can work with the 'old' generation of wheeled vehicles, such as the DAF 4- and 10-tonner, but also with the new generation such as: Bushmaster; Patria; Swap charge system.
