DongFeng Liuzhou » Chenglong T5

In 2016, Dongfeng Liuzhou introduced the bonneted truck model Chenglong T7, based on the Chenglong H7. When in 2017 the company presented a lighter model Chenglong H5, it was decided to create another bonneted model Chenglong T5, unified with the T7 model, based on the H5.

Dongfeng Chenglong T5 looks like the T7 model, but its overall dimensions are smaller and the cabin is more compact. The 4x2 tractor weighs only 6 tonnes and uses 315/60R22.5 and 295/80R22.5 tires. There are 4 variants of power units: Yuchai YC6L280-50 (280 hp), YC6L330-50 (330 hp), Weichai WP7.270E51 (270 hp) and WP7.300E51 (300 hp). The company expects to use the Chenglong T5 as an auto transporter with an additional space for a car being transported directly over the cabin.
