After two years of intensive testing and market evaluation using demonstration samples, the German Ministry of Defense ordered 280 Iveco EuroCargo military 4x4 trucks from Iveco Defense Vehicles. Order on behalf of the army was placed by BwFuhrpark Service GmbH. The delivery time is 2018.

As part of this order, the army will receive the IVECO EuroCargo MLL 150 E 28 WS with an extended unprotected cabin that features new seats, a flexible storage for radio systems and soldier equipment, hatch in the roof, NATO-blackout-light. The trucks have off-road single tyres. A spare wheel is placed behind the cab. An innovative multipurpose swap-body-frame to support multi-mission-operations outside Germany. All trucks are fitted with Euro 6 engines.
