Ural 43204 is a logging version of the base Ural 4320. The frame and suspensions are reinforced. Production started in 1989, so the right designation of the model is Ural 43204-01. Until 1993, it was fitted with 210-hp KAMAZ 740 and 220-hp KAMAZ-740.10-20 diesel (version Ural 43204-02).
Since 1993, the factory produced Ural 43204-10 with YAMZ 236 diesel and Ural 43204-30 with YAMZ 238 diesel (with a longer hood). In the 2000s, they were replaced by the Ural 43204-40 with YAMZ 236NE2 engine, later — Ural 43204-70 with YAMZ 53622-10 (240hp) and Ural 43204-72 with YAMZ 53642-10 (285 hp) diesels.
