In 1962, the lineup of Avia commercial vehicles was expanded by the new model Avia 3500 with 4192 cc 68 hp Perkins engine. Curb weight — 3825 kg, GVW — 5990 kg. The new model was unified with the lighter Avia 2500. Length — 5290 mm, width — 2022 mm. Wheelbase — 3530 mm. Tires — 7,50x16". Top speed — 90 kph. In 1973, Avia started production of an updated model, which got a new front mask and facelifted headlights.
