At the 1962 Barcelona Feria de Muestras, Avia showcased the prototype of an agricultural truck, called Avia 2500-R. It was fitted by a 68 hp Perkins P4/192. Curb weight — 1715 kg, payload — 1785 kg, GVW — 3500 kg. The prototype got a PTO to drive auxiliary equipment and simplified soft top cabin. We have no information about mass production of this version.
