WAW Aochi A-series is the light-duty range of trucks for city and regional delivery, which includes flatbed trucks and chassis with a GVW from 3.8 to 9 tonnes. The lineup includes versions Aochi A1, Aochi A2 and Aochi A3 with different payload. Exterior design of the A-range trucks is similar to the Aochi V-range. There are two versions of cabins are available - a daycab and sleeper cab.

Aochi A1 - the lightest model in the range, has a payload from 1.5 to 3.4 tonnes. GVW - from 3.8 to 5.6 tonnes. Wheelbase - 2850 and 3050 mm. Engine - 4-cylinder diesel Whole firewood 4B1 and 4B2, Cloud Power D19 with an output from 88 to 102 hp. Gearbox - 5-speed, manual.

Aochi A2 - flatbed trucks and chassis with a payload from 1.5 to 4.5 tonnes. GVW - from 4.1 to 7.4 tonnes. Wheelbase - 3360 mm. Engine - 4-cylinder gasoline and diesel Shin Kong Brilliance, Cloud Power YN and Chai Chai CY rated from 95 to 112 hp. Gearbox - 5-speed, manual.

Aochi A3 - flatbed trucks and chassis with a payload from 1.7 to 4.7 tonnes. GVW - from 4.5 to 9.1 tonnes. Wheelbase - 3360, 3800 and 4130 mm. Engine - 4-cylinder diesel Cummins ISF3.8, Yang Chai YZ4 and YC4, Isuzu JE and Yang Chai YZ4 with an output from 109 to 154 hp. Gearbox - 6-speed, manual.
