JAC Gallop K5 heavy-duty range debuted in the end of 2016. The new model saves its well-known design, which is similar to Scania trucks, but gets new modern design elements, such as front headlights. Gallop K5 model range includes chassis and tractors in configurations 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4. It is fitted with 160-480 hp engines. The cabin with low or high roof is 2.5 meters wide.
In 2017, a new engine was presented. Yuchai 6K12 is designed and developed by the AVL team who made Benz DD13/DD15 engine in 5 years, integrating the world-class newest technology, such as 12.2L displacement, 390~480hp.
