MAZ » 543P

MAZ 543P is a flatbed version of MAZ 543 chassis. It is equipped with an all-metal cargo platform to carry loads up to 19.6 tonnes. It was made for civil purposes to use in gas and oil undustry. The main difference with military versions is lack of special equipment. MAZ made 80 copies during the first year, and more than 2000 till the end of the mass production. Several copies of MAZ 543P were made for a Soviet Army and used as a training and ballast truck. Curb weight - 22.7 tonnes. Max speed - 55 kph.
