In 2015, the Brazilian branch of Mercedes-Benz Group announced closing of the producing of the bonneted trucks Atron 1913 and Atron 2324. The final chorus is this limited edition Atron 2324 Edição Especial. Sales of these vehicles has already started on a special web page of the company. 60 copies will be made, which certainly is a reference to the 60th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz in Brazil.

Each of 59 copies can be ordered in red or blue with the inscription "Edição Especial" on the hood, which means "Special Version". 60th truck will be sold at Sept. 28th auction, the day Mercedes-Benz Brazil was formed. Only this copy will get an exclusive details in the exterior and interior, such as a leather steering wheel, leather seats with the Mercedes-Benz logo on the back, rear-view camera, media system, climate control, "European" alloy wheels and some other features.
