KZKT » 932 'Zauralec' / E932 / 2E932
Autumn of 1963, KZKT began developing of a brand new powerful uniaxial tractor KZKT-932, which was also known as 'Zauralets-932', which was supposed to replace MAZ-529. The first two prototypes E932 and 2E932 were made in September 1963. They were unified with four axes tractors MAZ-537, and had a wide 3-place cabins, which were located behind of a huge engine compartment. The engine was a diesel YaMZ-240 V12 360 hp. Both prototypes of KZKT-932 was equipped with 3-speed hydro-mechanical gearbox and PTO gear, locking differential of the drive axle, disc brakes, original independent hydropneumatic suspension and 26,50-25 tires.
A sealed cabin with a sunroof was additionally equipped with an air blower. The curb weight - 11 tonnes, overall dimensions - 4680x3100x2935 mm, ground clearance under the axle - 580 mm. Maximum speed - 47 kph, range - 400 km. According to the results of tests held in June 1964, performance was satisfactory.
