In the 1980s, MoAZ made a unique triaxial airfield ballast tractor MoAZ-7915 (6x6) with articulated frame for towing military transport aircrafts with a take-off weight of up to 275 tonnes, including An-124 "Ruslan". The most interesting feature was two motor sections - front with one axle and rear with 2 axle. MoAZ-7915 was equipped with YaMZ-8402.10-01 V12 engine rated at 600 hp, hydromechanical transmission and single placed cab. It had 25,5x29 tires. Curb weight without ballast - 46.2 t, with ballast - 75.5 t. Wheelbase - 6159 + 2100 mm, overall dimensions - 14200x3400x3100 mm. Maximum speed - 40 kph, maximum towing speed - 3-5 kph. MoAZ-7915 was assebled until the early 2000s. Only 10 - 12 units were made.
