In 1987, the factory made they first attempt to create a civilian truck version under the project "Opening". It was a 4-axle flatbed truck KrAZ-2E6305 8x4 with a cabin from KrAZ 5E6316. 360 hp YaMZ-8421 diesel engine was used. The suspension was unified with the AWD model 5E6316.
